In life we all must have gone through the times where we have limited resources whether in business, personal life situations, jobs, etc. This evening I contributed to one of the posts written by @Kishore Dharmrajan on his facebook group Digital Marketing Dubai about Khaby lame, the famous social media personality.
It got me hooked that what I mentioned on the post (see my comment below) actually applies to all work conditions and to any of us in different life situations. And that encouraged me to write about how to achieve “Success in Scarcity” and what we can learn from Khaby Lame?
Let me start with a little info on Khaby Lame if you don’t know about him.
Khaby lame is the Italian-based content creator who lost his factory job during the pandemic and is now a highly-paid social media superstar.
He is a real life example and one of the famous social media influencers who is winning hearts with his simplicity without even saying a word. He is known for his TikTok videos in which he silently mocks overly complicated life hack videos.
As of October 2022 he is a most -followed user on Tiktok. He lost his factory job during the pandemic in 2020 and he started to think what he should do to make a living and that’s when he made use of the resources he had and created tiktok videos. He knew his weakness very well and put that to use. Today Khaby is a brand and is now a highly-paid social media superstar with an estimated net worth of $12 million as of October 2022.
What we can learn from Khaby lame success is how to shift from a scarcity mentality to abundance mindset in business or at work.
- Focus on what you have. Analyse and understand the real time resources you have and make the best use of them.
- Create a win -win condition for both parties your client and your business
- Try, Try and Try again.
- Consistency is the key.
- Know your weakness and convert it into strength
- Be Innovative & creative.
- Be Simple and realistic.
